Hi, I'm Vedant.

I'm a hacker with a profound love for cars. Currently, I'm working on Mekit, an auto-tech startup aimed at enhancing the vehicle ownership experience.

My journey began at the age of 13, driven by an insatiable curiosity and the thrill of exploring the intricacies of technology. Over time, my skills evolved, and I developed expertise in various cutting-edge technologies, including blockchain, augmented reality (AR), and Mobile. Beyond hacking, my enthusiasm for cars led me to establish RPM15, a thriving car club in Nashik. Through this community, I have successfully brought together fellow automotive enthusiasts, fostering a vibrant environment where we share our passion and knowledge. In addition, I founded rpmtalks, a podcast and automotive media company that specializes in covering specifically tuned, modified, or high-performance cars in India.

some text that i try to live by

“We attract a different type of person—a person who doesn’t want to wait five or ten years to have someone take a giant risk on him or her. Someone who really wants to get in a little over his head and make a little dent in the universe.” - Steve Jobs

it's easy to get distracted everyone thinks we are much better then we acutally are, be humble and honest about the fact that more is left to do than has already been done. Keep moving quickly don't get bogged down in thing that don't matter.

we risk becoming like everyone else. the only chance we have is the discipline and resolve of the silent majority who needs to and MUST become more vocal at the company.

be afriad of the company you don't know. there is someone out there lurking with a small idea that will grow into a giant. don't ignore that which you don't immediately understand and keep pushing to evolve faster when what people expect. it can create uneasy at times but it's our only path to long term relevance.

speak the truth. it's too easy to "manage" - upwards, sideways, downwards and be rewarded for it. this is death. speak candidly especially when it means it won't be well received. respect the person but don't let bad ideas go unchallenged.

their is more valor in failure than success. success is hard to define and hard to isolate root causes when it happens. its rare to learn much of anything from success except to conflate luck and skill, but you learn tons in failure. take enough risks that you continue to fail...and celebrate those so that it becomes the battle scars you talk about when you do eventually succeed.

don't be a douchebag. this is pretty self-explanatory but its not about the right to ripstik or the quality of the candy bars in the office. its about winning. everything else comes second…...a distant second. and the perceived correlation between winning and the rest is only in your mind. interestingly so is the resolve and focus to win.

Procrastinating kills creativity and positive vibes. It's a losers move to compare. The soon you realise, the more time you save. All this is imaginal thinking. Can be good/bad but a complete waste of time.

Patience, you gain it through habits, over time. You give things too much importance when you won't even care about that tomorrow. And the worst part is whatever you know about anyone is not even 1% of what they are. So appreciate, learn and move on. I once read somewhere, "If you think like the masses do, you live like the masses do" And this comparison is what masses do. So simplify it down to one simple question. "What?" You will realise and automatically go calm. Which will start developing patience.

I feel nothing is worth more than my mental peace and the vibe right there and then. And wonder if that thing will matter to me tomorrow, 99 percent it won't.

And then think about the world, There are so many good things, so much magic, and positivity out there, so many people, so many memories, some good and some bad, but you can't change anything that's been done.

Life is too short to take everything seriously and spoiling the vibe bro. So get over things immediately. Do what makes you happy. Work hard, Chill harder.

Talk to smart people who give you a good vibe. Because in some years, absolutely nothing will matter whatever you do now. Because your existence will be over. So have fun, do what you think the best version of imaginary you would do and fuck everything else.
